Flow

To Shreds

Thoughts tear apart under the pressure of feelings.

Dawn arrives with quiet signs,
Whispers meant for only me,
Like silent vows forever held
Between the light and all I see.

Every sunset rides the wind,
Leaving traces on my way,
Gentle answers drifting by
Before they slowly fade away.

The moon takes all the dreams I missed
Beyond where they belong,
While constellations, passing comets
Set my thoughts to branch and grow.

And when the place no longer matters,
Truth will finally unfold.
Like an avalanche descending,
All I thought I knew will fall.

Then I'll see the road before me
Never came to justify,
Only teaching me with patience
Another way to see this life.

Somewhere deep inside my soul,
Beneath the weight of what is real,
Still burns a spark of love and passion,
A quiet fire I can feel.

There the flame of consciousness
Finds the strength to come alive,
Where desire keeps on breathing
And fills the dark again with light.

It is not the waves that shatter
On the endless sea below,
Nor the ember in my chest
Refusing ever to let go.

It is spacetime itself
Unraveling every thread,
Until the thoughts I once believed
Become new paths instead.
