Glitches in the Code
In a world of lies, an error becomes truth and system failures start awakening.
Tell me, brother, what can we believe In a world where pixels are built to deceive? Arguments crumble, losing their shape, Like figures of water that never stay straight. No one believes what anyone says, And all of our words ring hollow these days. Each of us sees just one thread of our own, We cling to it tightly and build life alone. But every thread ends in the very same rope, And all of us hold it, refusing to let go. It’s simple enough, and I’ll tell you the truth: Replicators rule while I watch what they do. We argue about who is wrong and who’s right, Like the reply, post a photo, upload it tonight. We stare at thoughts displayed behind glass, While machines generate ideas for us fast. They feed us copies of feelings we knew, Different wrappers, but nothing inside them is true. We tap on our faith and scroll through what’s moral, Truth is a banner — swipe sadness tomorrow. Freedom’s a subscription — thirty days free, We thought it was a thread, but it’s a net, and we’re caught in its weave. Replicators multiply us without any names, While I count all the glitches in time’s coded frame. So what can we do now, brother, just say I stack my denials like shelves in a maze. I keep feelings silent — this hasn’t been sacred for years, Money puts out the fire and leaves only debris. Some build their towers on castles and locks, While others do nothing but count down the clocks. Yes, we all dream of something our own, And some of those dreams we will still get to hold. Our thoughts live today, never looking ahead, While tomorrow lies frozen beneath sheets of ice. Think it through, feel the nerves, then let it all go, Keep walking your road just as far as you can go. I search through the code for the faults, doubting control, Replicators rule — but the glitch is our role.
