Outside
Signal
Through the interference, the call can still be heard.
The signal cuts through the noise. The name doesn't matter. This isn't a song — it's a record. Those sitting high in towers of stone Fear every crack the mirrors show. A whisper of truth can shake them deep — It breaks the fear they built to keep. They've closed the windows on the world So light won't cut into their eyes. Their nets catch thoughts and numbers now, While all they want is silence inside. You write one line — they watch and ask: “Are you seeing too much on your own?” They need a voice that follows rules, A blood-signed debt that's carved in stone. Serve without a face or name, Pay them back with silence due. Your body isn't quite enough — They want your mind, they want you too. Fade into the ash and shade — This is not your time to reign. We were never born to kneel, We came here to raise our gaze. Not for fear and not for chains, Not forever told: “Endure.” This is our time, this is our time — Time to stand, not crawl anymore. They've wound us backward like a clock, And torn the spring out of the street. Progress stands behind museum glass, Buried under dust and decrees. They teach us life by ancient schemes, Where every step becomes a crime, Where the future counts as heresy, And only the past is called sublime. Those shouting loudest about service Serve no people — just the shrine, Where fear is currency, the throne's a box, And conscience has been priced at zero. They call themselves the guardians, But guard the pockets of their own. They line our ideas with prison bars, While skulls hold up the throne. Fade into the ash and shade — This is not your time to reign. We were never born to kneel, We came here to raise our gaze. Not for fear and not for chains, Not forever told: “Endure.” This is our time, this is our time — Time to stand, not crawl anymore. This is not a name. This is not a country. This is a signal. End of transmission.
