After

If

Doubt helps you remain yourself.

What if I've gotten it all wrong?
Life is a ruthless game of cause,
And softness is only an error,
Humanity — serotonin's pulse.

What if love is only chemistry,
Not choice, not words that make us rare?
And freedom is only a feeling,
Born from tiny motions everywhere.

But somewhere beyond every cause,
Where silence flows through you and me,
We simply are. We're simply alive
In anxious hours, most honestly.

What if there's no step, only motion,
Heaven — an excuse, and hell — our fear?
Justice — an attempt to endure
The chaos, drawing its borders near.

Then where am I? Where is my choice,
If motion never can stand still?
What if doubt is just a variable
In an equation beyond our will?

But somewhere beyond every cause,
Where silence flows through you and me,
We simply are. We're simply alive
In anxious hours, most honestly.

If everything is formulas and current,
And feelings — variables in a scheme,
Why can I still sense the border
Between the why, the being, and the meaning?

Analyze. Adapt. And carry on.
Let existence be a vacuum's illusion.
Say it as it is — there's no other way,
Not to cease to be, but to remain I.

But somewhere beyond every cause,
Where silence flows through you and me,
We simply are. We're simply alive
In anxious hours, most honestly.
