Rain
We are already connected by one flow, even when we seem apart.
Not everyone loves the rain... But all have longed for it at least once — When the desert inside our soul... Was longing for a drop to fall. And in that quiet waiting... Where light and silence blend, We turned into the very thing... We couldn't find back then. Like tiny drops of rain... Life falls down from above, We're rushing down to earth... Yet feel we're reaching up. And in the liquid shape of drops... Love blurs into the night, Just as within the chill of rain... The warmth of unity hides inside. We wait for rain — it's still not here... And silence eats us through our fear... Hoping that suddenly it falls... We sleep with light upon the walls... So where is it — that rain... To bind our souls as one? And I will say... We are the rain — scattered, yet still one. We're tiny drops of rain... We flow within one stream, Yet keep dividing what is one... Into "me" and "my own dream". We wait for rain — but stars burn bright... Reflecting us into the night... In one single stream... At different shores... Yesterday... tomorrow... and now... We're falling down... And inside us... In clear shapes of our days... Light waits for the slightest crack... To break out and blaze... We are the difference and the sum... We're emptiness and light... We're falling from a common sky... We are the rain — two drops: you and I. I don't wait for rain — I wait for awakening... To realize that we ourselves — are the rain we've been awaiting... And instead of empty waiting... We will become the thread... that mends what has been breaking...
