My Move

A personal choice breaks out of the noise and sets its own route.

Our connections break while their system lies,
Truth behind the walls screams out with no sound.
I remember before, I can see through today,
How the rules from within squeeze our voices away.

I wait for no signal, command, or green light,
I refuse to keep feeding the madness in sight.
Silence is choosing to stay in their frame,
To become just a number in somebody's game.

I could stay in the corners I've known all along,
Where fear leaves an echo in words that are wrong,
Where believing is easier than choosing what's real,
Where time closes wounds and compassion may heal.

But if I can see how the feedback returns,
Why keep walking their dirt while the same circle turns?
To break it, expose it, prove it, explain —
Is still not the same as to live out my days.

My life, my style, my move, my road,
I keep moving forward on the path that I chose.
My choice isn't running — it's where I draw the line,
My answer's not a word — it's a line that is mine.

All the chaos around me is nothing but noise,
I stopped looking there for a meaning or voice.
We live only once, but the meaning runs deep:
It's knowing that none of us ever repeats.

I steer for the horizon, wheel-noise brings me peace,
And I draw out my route as a curve without cease.
From sunrise to sunset, I want to keep going,
The heartbeat of loved ones keeps time on my road.

I'm a simple man — a smile can make me feel warm,
In the eyes of the one that I love, happiness forms.
Under skies full of darkness, I search stars for signs —
Being simple is easy; their road never is.

I just want to live, I just want to breathe,
Simply love, simply dream, simply choose what I need.
I don't want truth as a whisper forced to scream,
I don't want to lose the familiar eyes close to me.

My life is vibration — frequencies I've been through,
My move isn't impulse, it's reason carried through.
I may stumble along, but I won't cease to move,
Because once I am gone, I will never repeat.
