We Will Not Return

No return becomes not a loss, but a new scale of love and memory.

We won't return to where we started,
Won't feel the sea the way we did.
Those feelings won't repeat their moments,
Though we replay the dates we lived.

We see the images kept in memory,
But when we touch them, something has changed.
Something is different, not how it should be —
Where fire once burned, now warmth remains.

And what has cooled, we treasure stronger —
Not closer, but deeper; not brighter, but wider.
Simply everywhere, simply always there,
Not only within us, but filling the air.

A point in my memory
Has turned to a road,
And where there was nothing,
I now see the whole.

No return is no doorway
That closed at my back;
It's a change in the scale,
A new horizon's track.

Like a stone in the river,
Still there day after day —
It means that the water
Hasn't worn it away.

If a cloud rearranges
Its scattered design,
It's not transformation —
It's movement, it's life.

And if I no longer
See things as before,
Then a shift in perspective
Has opened hope's door.

Repeating our journeys,
We repeat all our dreams,
Returning again and again,
Trying to find happiness.

In the frames we expect, familiar faces repeat,
In the bonds we expect, familiar words reappear,
Where we read what is written without crossing lines,
Where we understand without weaving foundations inside.

Where sunsets above the sea call us away,
To sail for the horizon — just you and me.
Where dawns plant the frequencies of love in our veins,
And we freeze in the rays where the silence remains.

There's no need to search for that fairytale place,
It's enough just to love, it's enough just to dream.
It's enough to believe in the beat of our hearts —
Then you'll see the whole cosmos alive in their eyes.
